Next Generation Intelligent Networks concentrates more on the enabling technologies behind value added telecom services, and is a perfect companion to Implementing Value Added Telecom Services. Though it was published in 2002, practically all the book is still up to date today. It is also one of the few comprehensive books on OSA-Parlay.
